About this independent guide

Why we keep the receipts

Internet humor deserves more than a confident origin story repeated until the link disappears.

Small jokes, long histories

scoopwatbuzzgallery.lol is an independent, informative guide to meme formats, reaction images, parody and the routes that online jokes take between communities.

We write for curious readers who want to understand a reference without pretending they were present in every forum where it developed.

Our editorial lens

We explain how context turns an ordinary image, phrase or gesture into shared comedy. A joke’s documented source, its reusable structure and its later meanings are related, but they are not the same fact. Our articles keep those layers separate.

This is a curated reading gallery, not a comprehensive repository or a live trend tracker. We do not rank memes by supposed timelessness, and we do not use a missing source as an invitation to invent one.

What counts as a receipt?

Primary material includes an original comic, creator publication, dated post or source episode. Secondary material includes reporting, research and community-maintained histories. Secondary sources are useful leads; they do not automatically resolve every attribution dispute.

Uncertainty belongs in the entry

Deleted accounts, private groups and incomplete captures limit what can be established. When evidence is incomplete, the explanation should say so. We avoid presenting an entire community as having one intention, especially when a later controversy has flattened a more complicated history.

Named creators and real people deserve accurate attribution and proportionate attention. A useful source trail should not become an excuse to expose private information or treat an internet nickname as a biography.

Corrections and independence

If you have an earlier source, a broken link or a material correction, share an origin lead. Include the relevant page, the precise claim and the evidence that changes it. Submitting a lead does not guarantee publication, and we cannot promise a response time.

We are not affiliated with the platforms, creators, publishers or communities discussed. Mentioning a work is not an endorsement by its creator. This site is not legal advice, a fact-checking service for private disputes or a submission portal for personal allegations.
